The current state of audioDB is probably best described as “beta”: there is much that is functional, but some parts are incomplete or unimplemented; the system can be used to solve problems in Music Information Retrieval, but in some cases more slowly than necessary; the source code should be portable, but performance characteristics will be different on different Operating Systems, and the portability has not been extensively tested.
Please report any problems in compiling or using audioDB to the audioDB mailing list [Mailman info page]. Suggestions for improvement (or patches implementing improvements!) would also be welcome.
